The Botanic Garden wanted a new brand to reflect their relocation.
During our research we found that a species of tree, Sorbus bristoliensis can only be found
in the Avon Gorge. We developed an identity that told the story of the gardens moving
from one side of the gorge to the other. By combining the world famous Clifton suspension
bridge, which spans the Avon Gorge, and a branch of Sorbus bristoliensis we created a
strong, simple logo that could only belong to the Bristol Botanic Garden.
